YEAH!!!

Just saw their post on facebook - cut all 1mb uncapped pricing!!
Now R488pm for 1mb uncapped including dsl access!! Thats a R100 saving!! :D

ONLY MWEB would do this, and so soon after the telkom rumour yesterday! MWEB YOU ROCK!

And MWEB takes the lead again.
Let's see the others follow.

This is great news for the 384kbps and 1mbps guys but really sucks for the 4mbps and 10 mbps guys out there. How about passing some of that saving in our direction?

Nicely done Mweb and if you want to cut the price of your uncapped 4MB lines I won't be complaining:D

Hi All

Thanks for the support and wonderful feedback.

We really appreciate it :)

Hi PurSpyk

We believe that our 4Mbps and 10Mbps products are already competitively priced and as such chose to focus on the 384kbps and 1Mbps products. This is in line with our aim to make 1Mbps Uncapped ADSL the entry-level uncapped product in South Africa. We’ve also enabled all our 384Kbps Uncapped ADSL customers for 1Mbps speeds, for R20 less per month.

I'm using the 1mb subscription - so does that mean they will start billing me R199 instead of R299 - cause that would be amazing!

Hi Pooky

Existing customers accounts will automatically reflect the new price as of the 1st June 2012 :)

What if I signed up yesterday? Would i get the new or old pricing?

Hi Scooby_Doo

Everyone qualifies for the new pricing, existing customers pricing will take effect as of the 1st June. New customers will receive the price immediately.

If you signed up yesterday, that means you are an existing customer

Ah fail cake, should have waited 24 hours :(

I still think it's crap that 4 mbps users got left out of this. but hey money talks and the customer needs to keep quiet and take what they get.
