Hi Kosmic

I have noticed a few people that have mentioned slow downloading of this update.
I will have a look into this and see if I can find out anything

No No, I'm going between 350 and 600k no complaints just annoyed it didn't come down during the day.

Hey Mweb Guy is it ok if I download from news servers from 11pm to 6am

Thank you sir :-)

Any idea how to sign up for 3 month special?

I could arrange a sales consultant to contact you if you like. I would just need you to confirm your contact number.

Thank you Mweb Guy, I would like that. Will PM you. Thanks

Hi Anthro

International traffic for DBN customers will still route via the Seacom links in JHB.

As to why you were seeing the Cape Town hop in there it's possible you ran the trace while we were experiencing a teething issue with the JHB>DBN backbone link.

As we now have full redundancy on the backbone you would automatically have been diverted via Cape Town - this should have a minimal performance impact as there is a 10GB backbone in place on all 3 routes and there is sufficient capacity to handle the load should any one of the 3 links fail.

How does it look now?

Still hopping the same way - DBN, DBN, CT,JHB >>

I would not be so eager to sign up. I signed up on Friday for an uncapped 1024k. And so far. My Openweb 384k connection i had before out performs this 1024k like 10 fold. Currently i have had to refresh this damn page twice before all the content came up.

Have got same problems currently on my 4mb account, full speed when the router is reset, down to a crawl 2 hours later.

Hi KeezA,

I would like to look into this from our side. Please can you PM your MWEB account details to me and I will provide you feedback as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Just popping in to give some positive feedback.

For the last few evenings, my WoW experience has been the best it has been since the early days of uncapped. 25 man raiding in the new patch with vent running and 170 to 220 ms has been pretty damn awesome.

Keep it up MWEB!

Thanks Steven, glad you're enjoying it :) Have to say the experience on our local exchange has been awesome for quite some time now as well - I get sub 10ms pings in the BF3 server browser :D
