Things wouldnt be so bad if Mweb were transparent with this aggressive dynamic shaping. If they explained to us how it worked, when it was enforced and what we can expect from the service, majority of the people here wouldnt feel as cheated. The reason there is 820 pages now is because we feel cheated. You cant give someone a Ferrari for a year and then decide to take it away from them and give them a VW Beetle and expect them not to ask the question why you changed the cars. Knowledge is power Mweb. Let us know what is going on so we can make informed decisions if we would still like to be customers or not. None of this underhand aggressive shaping with no warning or information, let us know who/what/where/how and why!
why hasnt MyBB ,Mr Rudolph Muller, made an article about this yet? or they getting some of the pie in the background?
surely the 820 pages, over 1800 posts in just May2011 would indicate there is an issue, and not just a boom of telkom individual line faults all over the country?
Mweb, just play open cards, with YOUR clients, then a lot of these post counts will be lower.
I had to refer a client to this thread over the weekend, they wanted to roll out 30+ branches later this year with Mweb, (because I told them Mweb would be the way to go if they want better redundancy when Seacom goes down etc.) but after reading this thread they will have to reconsider...
words like "Expectations" etc keep flying around,
but is it wrong for a paying customer to expect his 4mb account to occasional actually show a throughput of 400KB/s , and not just be happy with 50KB/s (this is on legit, non p2p stuff)
C'mon mweb, don't dissapoint us

"Free the web"
*update
My speeds are fine, but a lot of people still seem to be having issues with http etc.
from the youtube speedtest ISP graph, we can clearly see mweb did fix some stuff there
