I couldn't log in myself just now without anything running but steam and my browser. Then I pinged that ip went to my EA account and now it just works for some reason.

Meh, only other thing is my download location is set as South Africa - Johannesburg. That has no bearing on match making afaik.

I get the same, been like this the whole week, really unacceptable that I can't even join a game, I don't care if torrents are a bit slow, but this is bull****. Sort it out mweb

Kinda disappointed with mweb, was awesome a few months back. Steam is timing out. HotFile still timing out. Torrents useless. NNTP slow as hell.

Simple question M-web guys - and this will test your networking knowledge. Connecting to Astraweb, I now get 0 (yes that is zero) kb/s. I then VPN into the US and get 400kb/s. Please explain this.

yep, back home after a sup and I see nothing has changed. NNtp that was running completed and there is now nothing running. Steam still cannot connect, p2p is dead , cant connect to EA for BFBC2.

Nope. Can't browse servers: search, favourite or history.

Rebooted router, left for a while, started steam , connected, tested BFBC2 ( standalone version ) no luck, restarted steam and then steam wouldn't connect again. That is with NOTHING else running on the line.
