Nah CT is fine, steam is full speed. I'm actually grabbing a game from PSN at full tilt as we speak. Youtube is full speed as well. These are obviously isolated issues.

I don't think that helps with the initial connection, merely where our downloads come from

Will,Mwebguy, here's a little graph showing my traffic as we approach 11pm, the rising curve only happened in the last 20mins - note the flat nothing before.

well I'm also kinda getting tired with mweb and steam issues... because there is not a lot of complaints it gets ignored (why should I post it if someone else already explained the problem with steam) and thats my view and I didn't bother to post it just use one of my other accounts to play on steam... some of my gaming friends laugh at me because i'm still with mweb and because my latency is high... well if I get connected to steam... this Mweb ad add made me liking them as a gaming ISP... ps cool add ok blah blah blah....

I decided to look at things steam logs/steam forums (there was mentioning try changing ISP's, yes and this works for me)/disable firewalls/uninstall apps/disable services/change settings in steam and steam commands (7 hours later)... in all instances and after each change I tested Mweb and another ISP... couldn't get connected to steam with mweb and everytime with the other ISP... I did however get connected with mweb and steam 2/3 times (i think it was with luck) out of the 50/100 attempts.. please please please mweb...

I am not one to complain, but this is b***s*** Steam not working.

Mweb that is just a big load of BS! Steam should not care about shaping or throttling it should just work. What else should I do when I get home from work wait until 11pm so I can play online games. NO! It should be active when I get home so I can play some online games like BFBC2 or even COD:BO.
