Why is everyone getting Hellgate? Is the game F2P now or something? :00

Mines not even loading. Switched to my Telkom Account and its flying at 380kbps.

I can understand some shaping/throttling/strangling at this hour, but this is just sad...
 
I never thought I would say this, but credits to Telkom for not having uncapped, if you know you don't have the capacity to provide uncapped at practical speeds, don't even get people's hopes up...

With all due respect thats not an explanation, why would nntp be throttled to absolutely nothing in the name of testing, has the past year not been enough of a test? As things stand now i cant justfy the cash i'm forking out for this account. All was good the way it was.
 
wasnt hellgate a massive epic fail or has returned as a free to play ?
 
MWEB - this is fracking pathetic - you guys are pissing me off!!! it's 11:12pm and my Torrent for Hellgate with 500 seeders is doing 2KB/s!

KEEP THIS UP AND I SWEAR TO GOD I AM CANCELLING! THIS IS BULLSHYTE! :mad:
 
Not saying the speeds you have are justified but you seriously should use the direct download instead. Most game torrents are notoriously slow for a few weeks after release (even with thousands of seeds) and that's not even taking shaping into account.

My simple opinion on this matter though? Not enough bandwidth provisioned. Mweb's client base has continued to grow but it's been over a year since I last heard about any major upgrades or bandwidth purchases on their part (then again they could have just not announced them I suppose). My experience has largely been wonderful (with a few hiccups) but I'm on 384k UNSHAPPED so my "wonderful" isn't even in the ball park for most of you 4mb guys.
 
I can't even get this page to load properly. *sigh*

And now I have to go through a whole rig-marole of submitting tests that I know the answers to.
 
I sent through an email to [email protected] over a week ago and have received zero feedback! Wtf is happening here? Mweb was quick to sign me up and start billing me but now I can't get rid of them?
 
And news server death hit about an hour ago ..... completely dead. Hopefully it's just a temporary side effect of the maintenance going down atm.
 
Done 25G's so far this month using NNTP (astraweb plus mweb news servers)
Black Ops new map pack downloaded via Steam at 400k
BUT new nvidia drivers came down at 100k?????? (0800 sat 4/6/11) used to download at 400k
