I won't recommend it since they walk the accident scene afterwards and I the worst part is that I found it in my facebook. Lets just say that at that speed no amount of riding gear and run off area will safe you.

Edit.
Just saw the video got posted. The crash ends at 30 seconds from their on in its the aftermath.

There's no aftermath in the video I posted.

the thing that bothers me about that is where the guys were in the lane.

if you are going to be stupid enough to do those speeds on the road at least be smart enough to place yourself away from the otehr cars.

none of them were in the middle of the lane, they were all really close to the other lanes, lane splitting at 300Km/h = DArwin award.

its people like that that make car riders think we are all hooligans.

I am no angel when I ride, but everyone in that video took risks they did not need to take.

I was considering the street triple, but now would more likely get the Yamaha MT07/09 - looks like a lot of fun for the money.
I really like that Yamaha XSR900.
Same triple engine as the MT09. But at 160k I won't be able to...

I was also looking at the MT09 but read so much complaints about the suspension...

jewe liesus :wtf:

Why is it wtf?

It's a marvel of engineering.

****

It is a *** boring video for what it is though. There's no perception of speed whatsoever.

I wonder if they changed anything else other than the final gearing on that bike?

What makes you think they changed the gearing? It's supposed to do this stock standard I believe.

Someone just did some marketing.

It's obviously not on road tires though.

Seen videos where it hits the rev limiter around 340km/h with stock final gearing.

One guy was acting stupid after the toy run on Sunday and it ended very badly , i think he lost his arm .

Aaah okay.

I thought this was one of those bikes that needed to be specially "unlocked" for track use based on GPS and what not.

But yeah if that's the case I think it probably goes beyond just gearing and they've played with the boost as well.

Rode like a bit of knob if you ask me.

Riding that fast and not reading the road in the slightest.

Lucky to not have gone down.

Any idea if this exist: A cellphone cradle type thing which you can use to put your phone in when you ride for like Google Maps?

Like this: but for a bike, and not an iphone :p which probably clips onto the handle bars or something??

Yeah that's why I avoid those mega rallies. Too many people around, risk of someone taking you out are exponentially increased.
