they are safe since all the weight of the bike is in the middle. I have seen guys use the heavy duty one for Harleys as well. What I would do differently is find a spot in the garage and secure four ring-type rawl bolts and use this to stabalise the bike when the stand is in use (just to be safe)

You made me think about getting a stand... but doesn't look like there's anything simple which will work on an incline.
I do this: carefully pull the bike over on to the stand with one hand, then spin the rear wheel with the other hand. Don't let it slip.
That's for lubricating the chain... everything else I manage on the side stand.

Oppistasie in Cullinan is not a bad place for a brekkie.
There are quite a few other nice places as well- even a craft brewery, though I'd not say what I think about them.
