Yeah if I was not riding for any length of time I would also use one.

But it was more of a joke about BMW physically being unable to start even with a push.

I think I recall that from one of the BMW tech evenings .... Also quite a procedure for jump starting one too!

I know of a brand new triple black R1200GSA for sale at about 13% off :p Get that instead, the price difference is not that big ;) :rolleyes:

no man, i don't want something as big as my car which can kill me with one wrong twist :p

Here she is, test rid it just now.... first time in over 10 years on bike, and I felt right at home :love: and immediately in love

stunning bike - I would call them up and ask them to throw in a decent helmet for free. they are already charging you on the road costs and license and reg

phoned them now... asked if they could "help me out with a helmet" and they said "what do you mean 'help you out'?" :p didn't vang my skimp. They'll add 4k to the financing LOL

weirdest thing about the dct was going around a corner slowly... i was used to sometimes (obviously depending on the situation) just free wheeling it around a corner with the clutch in... having it in gear and managing speed and whatever was a little weird around the first couple of corners. did you find the same?

Hence my accident :-P

When going slow, keep the throttle constant and use the back brake to control the speed.

And that's how you should be doing it on a manual bike as well, the DCT obviously just forces it on you.

Free wheeling anything is never good.
