Ok so at the advice of a friend I joined crystal web.

so far i am not happy. I can steam youtube on 720p... but I can not play local or international games. I get ping spikes well above 100 local and 500 international.

I just paid too...

anyways is this an common issue on the accounts? as it was like this yesterday too. Pings during the day seem fine.

Ran both this, capped afrihost, telkom and anotherisp's account and they all work. :confused:

No is not normal, CW had been rock solid for me until yesterday, started having latency problems

Awesome as I join isp starts getting issues. :erm: Well hopefully they sort it out... seems some websites having considerable slowdowns too at the moment?
 
How does shaping work on weekends? The same 12-6 hours or the whole weekend? Also, I'm on "Crystal Clear Uncapped" does this also get that "fusion data"? I saw no other packages advertised. Is there a way to see how much "fusion data" I have left before shaping kicks in?
 
And sorry for slowdown guys, I'm updating WoW. When it finishes all should be fine. Oh sorry, having flashbacks from OW when we all shared one account.
 
Signed up to the 10Mbps uncapped 3 days ago away from Afrihost and I must say I am very impressed!!! Almost full line speed all day and pings are really good!

Keep up the good work guys :)

Supersport Soccer is buffering badly on a 10Mb/s line. Even when it goes to SD.

Hope this is sorted out fast. Works perfectly on WebAfrica backup.

Mine is running okay. It is not perfect, but not bad at all ito buffering.
Incoming quality is not very high though. Definitely not reaching 480P at this stage, but that is probably SS?
Running 4Mbps.

When i switch to WA it runs in flawless HD. However, since i switched back it has at least stopped buffering, but is back to SD.

I've never experienced SS on HD afik.

I hope the quality picks up for the main game . That is what happened the previous weeks for me.
