Swtor patch today struggling to reach 50kbps download on a 20mb line. Switch to mweb download at nearly 2mbps. Simply not good enough guys. You have 7 days to fix this before I cancel...

NNTP on Vox on a 20Mb line comes down at just below 20Mb, CW I was battling to get 1Mb.

Well ya I hope they read their upstream providers T&C's as many of them are only guaranteeing wholesale bandwidth on a 75% Local / 25% International split...which means QOS/Shaping is tricky or near impossible..just poking around at possible causes, guessing actually.

K I'm done with this. What is the cancellation procedure with CW? Which ISP should I move to next. Looking for a 4mb uncapped unshaped account.

Same.. better cancel asap I guess, before they tell you the 18th is too late.

Do we just send an email to tell them we're cancelling or is there some official procedure? Don't want them to turn around later and say we didn't cancel properly...

Afrihost business is the best bang for buck with uncapped unshaped

Afrihost/Axxess are the same company and trust me they got their own issues, almost for a year already...as for Webafrica they also seem to be having issues at present! Check the corresponding threads.

Yeah, Telecoms in SA is a fcking mess, not denying that!!

Just think your chances of getting an account that performs at 80%-100% of max line speed, are far better via the capped, "unshaped" route. Uncapped is a bloody nightmare!!
