lol, figures...now suddenly NNTP runs at line speed. Been bad the whole day up untill I sent an email to support. It will most likely now run great again for the weekend. I will continue to watch it and let support know if there is a change.

I have a question, I signed up with CW last night with their 10mbps package. Are there any shaping policies applied to downloading? With my AH account I got full speed but was if I was shaped when I switched to CW

The first 200 Gigs are unshaped. Thereafter shaping kicks in with priority given to streaming and gaming.
 
Well, the first was a patch for an old game that downloaded at ~20Kbps with CW and at around 250 Kbps on AH. I also tried downloading some stuff of my dropbox account but that had the same results. Streaming and browsing was really good but the downloading was a bit of an issue since I was happy to have the 200Gb "unshaped" data
 
There's a problem on the upstream provider with single threaded http downloads. Looks like you're encountering it.

All Gauteng traffic has been routed to the coast.... oh, you're talking about internet traffic :)
 
Is it me or is HTTP cruising along quite nicely today?

Everything I downloaded came down at line speed :D

I had good nntp download speeds earlier this afternoon. But gaming became *****ty around 7pm. BF4 was lagging like crazy and had to switch to my back-up WA account.

Also look at trace one, no Telkom or Internet Solutions in the mix. Trace two Telkom and Internet Solutions.... so you are basically going from Cybersmart to Telkom to Internet Solutions to Hetzner. Talk about a long run....
 
:) exchange is fixed and back up to 4Meg speeds (took over an hour today, just to get back to 4Meg, Telkom call center took ages)
CW Account working perfect as per usual :D
 
Well either all of the MyBB CW customers have left or people are finally happy (again) with the accounts :)
