How do I unsubscribe from these daily usage mails? I don't even have an account anymore.

Just hop over to live chat quick and one of the guys will disable it for you. Or you can PM me your username and I'll disable it on my end.

12AM everything just went dead for a few seconds, disconnecting me from a dungeon run in WoW and causing my DI.FM stream to stop.

Please, oh please, let this not be a repeating issue from IS.

Exactly the same thing happened here. After about a minute, everything suddenly started working again.

There are DNS issues again, cannot find server t.co (Twitter's URL shortening service).

This was a Telkom fault that took place, and not a DNS issue. There was no forewarning but Telkom performed maintenance on the equipment that failed earlier in the week that caused the CPT outage. This is why the connection went down. Shouldn't happen again (we hope, as do you, I'm sure).

The DNS issue I had was much later than midnight, as you can see from the time I posted (02h54).

Anyway, I haven't seen it again so will presume that it was a momentary glitch.

Next it happens please drop us a mail to [email protected] with a tracert to the destination. It will give us a time, account to look at, and any data from the trace may be important too. But glad you came right there.
 
Same thing happened again at 20:07 tonight...

Everything just went dead for a few minutes.

Gonna try the DNS thing out...
 
If *everything* goes dead, it most likely isn't the DNS though.

Account stays connected, just everything falls flat. WoW lags out, streaming cuts out, cannot open webpages.

Then it just comes back.

Sounds like the same Telkom-related issue of the other night, to be honest.

Can you run a winmtr, pathping or tracert when it happens and send it to the support email, or PM me?

One of the Telkom infrastructure links has gone down and has been reported for them to fix. Customers in Gauteng may be affected by slower than usual throughput and latency troubles at the moment. Hoping for a quick turnaround here by Telkom and should be sorted shortly. This may be affecting other ISPs too. No official network notice sent by Telkom just yet so no ETA, but I will update as we can.

Can I just say what a pleasure it has been dealing with a Telkom fault through Crystalweb. After I was incorrectly moved from a 4Mb line to a 2Mb line, Crystalweb has been extremely diligent in sorting out the mess on my behalf. Thank you for the amazing support and I would gladly recommend this service to both friends and family.
 
There seems to be an issue with NNTP atm. Confirmed with Support and they are looking into it.

As always, support was quick, professional and just awesome to assist.

We are going to try to push an update for this tonight still. It's difficult to simulate the total effects of the deployment tonight in its entirety, but we're confident it should work without causing any other hassles, but if anyone notices any issues just hop on chat and I'll try to avail myself tomorrow to discuss it, so we can roll back or make any other tweaks if need be.
