So, 20MB premium uncapped or 300+1200GB business standard capped. Cost is the same so not a factor.

Same price, do around 700GB a month mostly on NNTP. On weekends I download when at home (legit things since I do a lot of work on Azure), and then the odd Xbox One digital game.

Looking for predictable performance throughout the day.
I'd consider capped for your requirements.

The Premium uncapped is made for streaming and gaming, with downloads during the day taking a bit of a back seat. It would be best to schedule downloads between 00:00 and 08:00 on the Premium uncapped.

Ito streaming it is THE account to own in SA.

And how does the home uncapped option fare for netflix streaming? I hardly ever do any NNTP downloads anymore so most of my usage comes from streaming during daytime.

Our FAQ tries to explain the differences between them all, but the vast majority of home accounts (no matter from which ISP) are not intended for large business peak time consumption, as businesses get first access to this data. Premium home uncapped is more forgiving than basic uncapped on this front.

On the whole, one should see the business and home packages as defined by two things when making a determination about which package is best for you: time of day usage, and total overall usage. If your usage is needed by and large in business hours, and is needed for things like HD streaming in these hours, a business package is always more suitable, whereas if your consumption is made up of mostly non-business hours and downloads can be scheduled, most home packages are more suitable.

CW you might want to reword or clarify that, as it reads that you need a business account to stream HD and that no other account would be able to. At least that's how I would interpret it.

Thanks. I have amended accordingly.

And afterhours?

So business gets priority in business hours and after hours? Are they equal? Or is the business then de-prioritized since it's outside of it's specific hours?

Business gets first priority to the network at all times, as not all businesses close at 5pm, however most do, so business demand by and large drops off around then.

For the guys with capped, how do you guys schedule your FTP downloads between 12pm and 6am?

Okay, starting them is no problem, I mean terminating/pausing them before 6am, without getting up with the sparrows.

Most FTP clients I have seen don't have a scheduled pause function.

Smart FTP - https://www.smartftp.com/client/features/schedule or FileZilla and WinSCP scripting?

Wish cw had smaller packages :/ would love to join them but even the 90gb capped is bit to much..60gb would be the sweet spot
