Official Meizu M2 Note thread

Just figured how useful the "Security app" is a'la iPhone. You can switch on/off apps that run in the background which will improve battery life, also you can switch on/off which apps you want to auto-run at startup. I found these too function pretty helpful when I used my iPhone, saves the battery and saves data. So use. No need to download a Battery App, or a data monitering app.

And more than anything sometimes it's really key to use the phone as is and sure there's apps you can download to better enhance your phone usage. But you can get a lot out of Android. Google Now is brilliant at Reminders and Alarms so no need to download an alarm clock app. No need to download Shazam because Google Now can do the same function as well just ask Google to indentify the song playing. Etc, etc, this phone is pretty awesome. I can see myself using this phone for a least a full year.

Plus with Android Lollipop 5.1 running on it I'm pretty happy.

Lekker. Let us know what you think of it when you get it. I dont know about the other peeps .... but I love this phone.

Yup also loving it. Now just waiting for my tempered glass to arrive from eBay.

Quick question is your time settings set to be network detected or is it manually set?

Loving my phone too, looking for accessories now. Right now they only available from China with 15-60 Delivery time estimated

Yea I ordered two tempered glass screen protectors from two different buyers in the hope that one gets here quicker. Also ordered about 3 different covers.

Flashback to the good old days with the Nokia 5110 and its front cover which you could exchange for more colourful ones...

Ah man, let me know if they come through alright, I would gladly buy from you 1 of each if you willing to sell or order some for me as well.

Saw the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 coming mid-August with similar specs as our Meizu. Chinese manufactures really pushing boundaries, great specs at a great price.

Once the stuff arrives il let you know. I am out of town for about a month now but ya I think I ordered a couple extra bits and bobs.

I'm all set up on the phone and digging it. Great display.

Ja....the display is really great. Only gripe I have with this phone is the volume is really soft. Even with my headphones in watching a youtube vid is really soft. I wonder if this is a software thing or a hardware thing?

If you Google Meizu m2 note thread you'll see and xda page that's like 22 pages long but in there they mention some solution with busy box and also something about a developer code you enter through ussd or something to set some volume output. I haven't tried either of the solutions though.
