I see on the website that WEB AFRICA says an estimate of 30 days installation. Please tell me why it will be 3 months?
And you also say we will be emailed and kept up to date with what is happening....Complete lies!!! I think you should rather not have pre-orders on your website until you can actually assist your clients!!!!! YOU ARE THE WORST ISP!!!!! EEEEEEVVVVVVVEEEERRRRR!!!!!

So much for replying on a monday to friday between 8 and 4. Again Lies!!!!! Every one who is with these liars should get a new ISP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I decide to check my DSL console tonight and see that I have used 112 gigs of anytime date and only 70 gigs of DL+ data. Two mornings - 4 and 11 - I did massive DL's during DL+ hours but WA has allocated that to my anytime usage. According to their stats at 13:00 today I DL'ed 99 gigs on my 40 meg line (max per hour is 16 gigs). In addition to that, my computer was off during office hours.

So annoying when WA messes up and only discover issues when users report it. How this can be so messed up is beyond me.

Anyway let's see what WA helper can do to resolve.

Maybe check your console if you haven't yet this month
 
What does it take to get Web Africa to stop spamming me? They keep trying to call me multiple times per week, and I'm not interested in what they want to sell. They also send an automated email after each phone call, and I've tried emailing them back to tell them to stop spamming me, but they just ignore those emails.

I'm getting so tired of it that I'm considering dropping Web Africa as an ISP if they can't figure out how to not spam me.
 
Anyone having ping spikes today, rapid ping spikes and a bit of packet loss.

On 11 June I posted about incorrect data allocation and it took a few weeks to resolve.

The same problem happened yesterday - really annoying.

Check that you too are not been ripped off by WA if you are on an uncapped account.
 
Anybody else in the Western Cape having issues? Packet Loss in the evenings?

Not on ADSL/VDSL, but I have been having terrible Twitch.tv performance in the evenings in the last week on my WA/Vumatel fibre package, not sure if it it related in anyway.

I'm in WC.
