I am having this problem, phoned CellC, they had no idea.
It works on another PC I tried, so all I can think to do now is bloody reinstall my OS and hope that solves the problem.

Other thread about this issue.
Okay, I connected earlier with MDMA, and my torrents were coming down between 100 and 250 kB/s.![]()
Awesome.
I cannot connect to any sites other than the CellC site.
This is driving me bonkers.
Half the day on the phone with a CellC person on Friday and we could not solve this issue, where do I turn to next?
As said in the previous thread, I am on the verge of reinstalling, but would prefer to avoid this if possible.
Can surf other sites when I tried on another PC, so there is an issue specific to my PC.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
1. Click on Start button.
2. Type Cmd in the Start Search text box.
3. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request.
4. Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt shell, and then press the Enter key.
5. Restart the computer.
you could try resetting tcp/ip winsock, i had to do that once some time back before i was able to browse at all.
got any weird dns/proxy settings going ?
Don't know what I just did, but it didn't make a difference.![]()

No, MDMA just uses whatever device drivers you have installed.Am I right in thinking that connecting with MDMA would achieve the same goal as doing the above?
No, MDMA just uses whatever device drivers you have installed.
I don't think this is an OS or driver issue because it has happened to me with the Cell C modem plugged into my router.
Copa that can't view webpage
Mine from Cell C also BUT i can view webpage
My ipconfig/all
That any help?
Did you try above 4 posts?
Before you go breaking things, bear in mind I have seen this issue with an E1820 plugged into my MikroTik RB411 router (so no Windows drivers involved) and also with a Cell-C SIM in my Nokia N900 (so no E1820 involved).
Have you ever been able to visit any website other www.cellc.co.za with this SIM, or does it work normally for a while and then you find yourself only able to access www.cellc.co.za?
The reason I ask is I think there may be two different problems here with the same symptom.
