We do not shape based on usage, but on how busy the network is at any given time

With regards to the Buy 1 get 1 free accounts, it states the speed will be independent but will the bandwidth tracking be independent too? I.e. if the one account downloads too much will both accounts be penalized?

Thanks up front for any responses.

My Internet has been pumping solid for the last month with absolutely zero problems.

Keep it up Mr BEEP!!

You have packet loss and your first hop on the traceroute is taking too long which means you could be on a congested exchange.

Run the tests at different times of the day and see what you find.

... but thanks for your diagnosis - will anyway ask Telkom to check the line tomorrow FWIW

Hello,

Kindly email [email protected] so that we can investigate.

There are no general network issues currently.

Log into your router and look for an option like line stats or ADSL stats. What router you have?

My Router uses the telkom router as a dial in only so can't access it - it is one of the first telkom routers that were introduced when adsl came out (lol) its still going strong - maybe a new router will be a good idea.

Hello,

Thanks Mr Beep - I will check this again this afternoon when I am home -
