thanks for the great service OpenWeb, this morning there is still no sign of shaping of any sort on my OW Silver uncapped :D

Have spoken to Telkom, they have reset the DSLAM for my line and upped the speed. Will test tonight after a reboot and post results here.

And yes - much better:

International:
Download Speed: 4367 kbps (545.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 287 kbps (35.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 198 ms

That sounds fantastic, just too bad I'm out of things to download. I'm really happy with the gamers 2Mb uncapped package so far, keep up the good work. :D
 
Unshaping the network appears to make no difference for me. My account runs awesome all the time. Shaping to me is starting to look like a myth :D

On my 2mb gold account I can definitely see shaping during business hours as well as torrents never go more than 180KBps

Can confirm same with 1mb Gold Uncapped - p2p downloads max 90% line speed after hours & around 25% line speed during business hours.
 
Hi MrBeep, any congestion issues or network problems going on at the moment? I can barely stream HD video on YouTube (I usually am able to, even during shaped / peak periods) and NNTP downloads are virtually non-existant (10kBps instead of the usual 300kBps)

I'm on the 10mb Gamer King / Downloader bling account. I realize this account is shaped during the day, but my daytime shaped experience till this point has been far more acceptable than today's

I am the same for P2P: 90% - 100% after 6pm and during the business hours it is around 20% - 25% line speed. I am also on Gold. Sad but better than where I was before.
 
4Mbs Gold here.

Past week has been horrible. I can only ever get 30-90% line speed after 2am. This is not what I pay for and my AH account is working just fine 24/7. I have contacted Support with a 2 day Diagnostic and I'm sure OW wont let me down. Awaiting further communication.
