Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

Definitely something wrong, I am on the VB backbone as well, the line wouldn't authenticate for about half an hour and now that it has it's really sluggish and slow also speedtest.net won't load...

I'm guessing this has something to do with the seacom outage, will give it till this evening and then log a fault.

Lol just switched to my Webafrica Redafrica backup account and it's downloading at 0 KBps. Rather switch back to Openweb and wait it out.

Can anyone with an DSL Heaven account try and open the following websites:

1) cisco.netacad.net
2) www.standardbank.co.za
3) incredible.co.za

None of these sites want to open up for me. Switching accounts however, the problem goes away, so this is definitely something with Webafrica's backbone.

Ask if you can move to another backbone if you suspect that the one you are currently on is giving problems. I can personally say the VB backbone is outstanding {99.9%} of the time.

Tested all three sites they work fine for me...

MrBeep, with all the competition lately after the ipc price drops are we going to see any price reduction on our 4Meg Gold packages? Even a R50 drop on the R738 would be great, my internet is killing my budget

Issues rarely last for more than a few hours.

Webpages on DSLHeaven does not load fully for me. Some components only download after refreshing pages. Anybody else have this issue?

Post a couple of examples that aren't fully loading for you and I'll test. The sites that didn't want to load for me does now after I switched to Google's DNS servers in my router.
