You can probably still find pics of the last few proper storms here, Brass Bell out in Kalk Baai got flooded, windows got smashed. On the western seaboard side I watched my downstairs neighbor's umbrella get lifted into the air and carried into the ocean 70m away, with the concrete base and all and Doodles also had their awning properly damaged,
This? so far this is nothing, puppies cuddling, a cutesie non-event

i've been standing with coffee peering out of the lounge window at the sea - no wind, no rain, but big waves.I see some occasional lightning, but hear no thunder
