Must've skipped you guys in the west. Here in Little Karoo the wind is raging. Trees swaying wildly in roaring gusts. Getting worried about solar panels being blown loose...

At about 5:20, sht got real in Sea Point. Wind is pumping. Must be crazy for people trying to get to work right now

yeah but now its gone again, it lasted for a whole five minutes

I think I will venture out to take my morning walk, this storm is disappointing.

I can see stars and partly clear skys...

Windy last night, but not armageddon...

Some media sites go a hold on windy.tv, saw a spinning circle and pumped out the doom stories.

The worst storm in 30 year...bleh...more like storm in a tea cup...weather we had last night, is just typical Cape winter weather.

Oh well, I expected a storm, but it was more like heavy rain that we normally use to get in Winter. It was raining heavy last night, but it's hardly what one would call a storm

Yeah I expected worse. But the winds were pretty hectic at times, and it rained and even hailed a little here. The weather forecast really made it out to be much worse than it ended up being.

That said, I dont feel like sitting in traffic either way.
