I am in the same boat. If you contact support, you will get a response from the networks team after 3 or 4 days if you are lucky to say its resolved but nothing is resolved. When you say that they just ignore you.I am also still having issues on RAIN. Most of the time I'm lucky to get 8kpbs download, which makes my alternate Cell C service look lightning-fast.
The only solution they offer is create a new APNI am in the same boat. If you contact support, you will get a response from the networks team after 3 or 4 days if you are lucky to say its resolved but nothing is resolved. When you say that they just ignore you.
Perhaps a stupid question, but how does one do that? The only solution they offer is create a new APN

I'm in Hillcrest/drummond-KZN and my RAIN sim will no longer roam on Vodacom, therefore no more connection.
Using Opensignal android app, you can see which towers your device is connected to.
Mine used to bounce between Vodacom towers if there was no Rain tower, now it only connects to Rain towers. Since Saturday 19 October...
Actually I am also in KZN and found the same problem, although mine is just very slow to use, not completely dead.I'm in Hillcrest/drummond-KZN and my RAIN sim will no longer roam on Vodacom, therefore no more connection.

Mine also started after load shedding on Friday evening but I only noticed I am connecting to another tower on Saturday.
I havent moved my router so I found it strange, but figured the local tower had keeled over due to the power issues.
But it has not resolved itself to date.
This new tower is double the distance to the closest tower to me previously.
I logged it with Rain and it has been on the escalation path since Saturday with no response.
Although I was promised a 24 to 48 hour response time.
MwI still haven't received a response from Rain apart from the "have you reset your router" line of questioning.
Me 2. Still waiting 80 hours later for an escalation.I still haven't received a response from Rain apart from the "have you reset your router" line of questioning.
