Afrihost is simply the best. From real time experience to support they are years ahead of other internet service providers.
 
I have been with Afrihost for more than 10 years. I have used most of their products and services.
Lately their customer service has become pathetic to say the least. Whatsapp support is a joke!
Landline and e-mail support is just as pathetic!!!
I like the days when Gian sent our personal notices, it gave me a sense of trust. Where is Gian???

On a positive note, I had fibre installed 2 days ago, very fast response activation and also an e-mail to the Fibre support with a response on the same day:)
Waiting to see how it goes...........................................
 
Took me four days just to move my fibre account to new address, then i get billed again for the month i already paid, nightmare getting hold of support and now i have to struggel with accounting. Starting to wonder why i am with afrihost
 
Been with Afrihost for about 2 years. Very little down time if any and easy access to support via whatsapp.
 
Great ISP, service, support and value for money is great. I have several packages with them for connectivity and hosting. I do wish they had a bundle deals for fibre and hosting though.
 
Great customer service; having a WhatsApp support line is great. Delivery of router and later fibre installation took less than 3 days total, all free of charge. The rest had to be setup through the router over the phone, the consultant made it super simple. Furthermore, the migration of other products into an upgrade was seamless. They are an all-round excellent ISP.
 
Just started with them a month ago.
Had a couple of issues, nothing major.
So far so good!
 
So far so good but at times the frustrate me by not responding in time or not responding correctly to one's problem.
 
I've been with them for about 6 months and everything has worked very well so far. I haven't had to make use of their customer service department yet. I really like their app and Web interface, which let's you very easily change products (I've used it to upgrade and downgrade packages) without having to pick up the phone or send an email :)
 
First signed up with Afrihost when they offered their R29 per gig ground breaking deal! Have switched ISP many times since then but due to hunting for the best deals rather than a performance based move.

Back with Afrihost on their pure fibre deal, since July 2019 and it has been a pleasurable experience all round...
 
support quickly and speedily help when things go down...good support is always key
 
Best ISP with regards to value adds. Amazing account management, amazing support. Great products and services...but not cheap.
 
4 Months with them now
No complaints, nice guys and to be able to PM someone and know it will be sorted is unheard of in almost any client-orientated business today.
 
I find them to be pretty reliable in the small things. So when a particular backhaul or something fails, they are pretty good at switching to a backup without you noticing the immediate effect.
That said with the WACS and SAT3 cable break, they did take a while to properly respond, but bonus points for actually making arrangements to have working internet.
 
Been with Afrihost for 12+yrs and still my ISP of choice. When something goes wrong it gets sorted. Sure it's not perfect but the best in terms of comms and solutions.
