Router Battery Backup

A while ago i ordered this from geewiz:

any idea where i can get another cable for it?

Depends on the cable? Maybe take the CPE power cable to an electronics place.

Best bet is take it to a place and see if they've got a cable.

What makes it even more useful is the fact that they also provide those DC adapters with it.
I have one of those crappy D-Link Fibre routers from Afrihost that has a thinner connector-end for its power supply. Different than the usual ones I have with my other routers. So one of those DC adapter connectors should do the trick for me.
 
BTW, I see Takealot is increasing the prices for the above quite substantially.
I bought it at R799 early this morning. When I checked again it was increased to R899. And currently now it's at R1199.
 
Like the piece of prose, we had about DSTV decoders and their software bugs years ago.

9 bugs in the SW, 9 bugs in the SW

(or words to that effect)

Sneaky! I looked this morning and it was R899, and I thought I remembered it being R799 last night.

I believe it's automatic. Their system ups the price if an item suddenly sells more. I saw the exact same thing with the Xiaomi robot vacuum. I bought one and then an hour later got a voucher. So cancelled the first order and placed another with the voucher. Shortly thereafter it was up by R500 (10%).

Groan. Fine. I'll go get the old APC at the office when I next go in and fix it. Probably needs a new battery too so will have to open it anyway. Now there's likely a battery shortage, right?!
 
Just confirms why online purchases are an absolute last resort!
But then, the World is full of mugs and suckers ..........
