Router Battery Backup

Hi All,
I need some assistance finding a router/ONT micro UPS. I have a 12V fibre ONT and a 19V Asus router. Is there a single micro UPS that you can recommend that can power both devices during load shedding?

I found the Ratel 8100 that can be back ordered on Sinetech. Are they reliable, as I have never ordered from them? Also, will this micro UPS do the job?

Also found the Solarwize MU-1008. Will need to get a quote if they even have stock. Also never used this company before either.

Anything else available out there that you would recommend? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Sinetech are pretty reliable, bought my Ratel from them with no issues.

The Solarwize is a rebadged Ratel so it will do the job.either of those will keep your router and ONT up and running

The Ultralan 60w can do 9v and 12v and 15v or 24v on POE all at the same time also a very nice solution

2x Ratel or a single Ultralan 60w, any recommendations?
Or are these overkill?

I am looking at powering the ONT 12v and the router 9v
The ONT manual says 7W peak power (12v 1A adapter)
The router has a 9v 0.6A adapter so 5.4W

As mentioned I got the Solarwize from Takalot for R1200.

I haven't had a chance to test it out as I was away for the weekend but so far looks great. I'm sure the Eskom gods will oblige sometime this week.

Got my 12v ONT and 12v Wifi Router connected,

Where can I get male barrel jack DC to DC cables? The ones that came with my Ratel 860p are way too short and my new routers barrel plug is smaller than whats provided in the Ratel box. Places in PE act like they never seen a DC to DC before. Is this something I am going to have to make on my own. I don't trust my electrician skills but Im willing to give it a go.

I also struggled, so I opted to get a long male to female cable, and then used a splitter cable (female to 2+ male), to turn the female side to male.

Did you find that cable online? Could you send me a link if you can please. All I can find are the short ones.

I got one on Takealot,

They also sell the 1m version. Your local communica/acdc/voltex etc should also be able to help.

Then you get a dc female to 2+male splitter e.g. https://www.takealot.com/lumeno-4-way-splitter-white/PLID41395233 - use it as a sex changer, and hope that the barrel fits...

Or get the correct version of this, https://www.takealot.com/oem-dc-jack-screw-terminal-male-10-pack/PLID46858327 and then use 'any cable' - no need to solder etc.

You are a lifesaver man. Thanks. I would have never found some of these.

Does your fan spin for a few seconds every now and then.
I've had it run off battery for about an hour now - haven't heard the fan once. It could be firing up briefly but my desktop is right next to it with constant fan noise... might not be hearing it.

Thanks.
Mine spins for about 5 seconds then stops for 60 seconds. Does it with or without a load.
