So nfc won't work with imported phones?

I'm actually very very keen on breaking the bank to buy this... Wow

So, from Handtec, it would be:

£429.99 + £60.2 (14% VAT) + DHL Shipping?
 
When will it end, one can never stay ahead or even catch up with technology, it seems like yesterday I got my i9000 (The first MTN supplied one in PTA) and now it's outdated?? OK OK don't bother answering.
 
Once I get this phone, I won't get another for at least 4 years. This is the first time in my life I'm willing to go ahead and pay R6k and actually buy a phone and not get it on contract etc.
The thing is, the I9000 is still a great phone, in a year, it still will.
 
I too am just itching to get my hands on one. I understand the one's in the UK don't have NFC ... but then again I don't think that our local market will have it either due to there not being much(any) support for NFC here.
 
There's a guy on youtube doing some nice walkthroughs of the phone ... SamJPullen. Even did a little comparison to the Desire S
 
It would seem that there are a lot of other people also trying to get the Galaxy S2, 3 million in fact.
I am happy with my Galaxy S and will wait until the Galaxy SIII comes out (not because I want to but because my contract only expires at that time).

I'm with you. Very, very happy with my Galaxy S (what's an iPhone??) but my colleague is going to leapfrog me when the SII comes out, so I say 'take your time Samsung' :)

According to GSMArena the ones sold in Sweden also not have NFC, but the article say that i NFC enabled version will be made available later, link to article.
 
Would prefer to go with handtec when they get stock.. I think it comes to under R5800 including duties..
