WOO! :D For anyone new to the thread, order # was about 7100 and placed on the 13th.
 
Aaaaaand, the tracking number they gave me says it was dropped off in Russia on the 23rd :|
 
still waiting (not so) patiently for my email from Clove... read somewhere on XDA that Clove dont want us to email them, they will send tracking number when order is sent through. Wonder if they ship on Saturdays...

Ouch, that looks painful. I ordered mine almost 2 weeks ago, so maybe monday or tuesday it will only be a few days wait... I can't really say at this point who'd be best to order through, but its still at the point where there's enough demand to keep the main stores out of stock for another week or two, at least, if I were to take a guess... So it'd probably be best to order 'now' if you don't want to wait till you see an 'in stock' icon...
 
Haven't heard back from handtec yet, but it does appear I have a valid tracking number with them. The "delivery" notice is the 23rd, but there's been 2 updates that I saw, and there are a couple movements through the UK in the past 2 or 3 hours with the proper date.
Guess I'm sharing an old tracking number. lol
 
The phone sitting at clearance dept. or thambo since yesterday. Still no tracking # from handtec. Communication is not their strongest point

If I cancel an order with Handtec will they just refund the credit card without issues? Having second thoughts about buying this phone so soon, maybe I should rather get it cheaper when we have some great custom ROMs. Until then I have my Galaxy S 1...
 
Yes cancellation with handtec is smooth, they'll even do it for you without your request

Two weeks ago I received the same message, paid them immediately and then the no stock story surface, It took them two weeks to ship the phone. Maybe I was just unlucky.
My phone is sitting at customs for 2 days now. Still not cleared. It took less than two days to ship the phone from the UK to sa in 2 different aircraft's via 2 different airports. Now it 's taking our proudly south africans brothers more than 2 days just to get custom clearance on the phone. To make it worse it's Friday so I will only see it by Monday if luck is on my side.

Eish @ customs.. hope you get it on monday latest. I still got no mail from clove, so losing hope rapidly in their promise for this week

Well I got a mail from Handtec saying they successfully cancelled my order and refunded the credit card.
Right after that I get a mail saying disregard the previous message, it was too late to cancel as my order had been dispatched!
Oh well, if I can't sell it for a small profit I'll keep it. Not exactly a disaster :)

Well I'm not going to let it go brand new for less than what I paid... if I make a profit I'll sell it. So if someone wants to be able to pick it up straight away and buy it in cash, then contact me.
I'm in the Durban area.

Otherwise, it's cool, I'll have fun with it and sell my Galaxy S and Nokia 5800 instead if I can find a buyer.

By the way how do I track my order? I chose DHL for shipping. Don't see any info on that in the email even though my order has supposedly been dispatched.
