Also on the leaked stock ROM, unchecking "Report from this device" in Maps settings enables deep sleep much better, improving battery performance. Of course, if you actually want it to report your location automatically...

Then it might be time to invest in a new battery. Unless you listen to a lot of music or live in an area with very bad reception.

I almost never get less than 3h on screen with at least 30mins of music these days.

No I'm telling you, I've never been this impressed with a setup, I'm stumped in work this week so I don't use the phone too much but its working flawlessly.

Peeps on the Dorimanx thread have even been telling him now to chill out and take a break, his kernel is awesome :-)

Anyone else having issues with countdown timer and deepsleep - as soon as my screen goes off the countdown stops.

DorimanX 7.22
Rootbox 3.1

Can't post on XDA to ask as i don't have enough posts.

I'm also using the latest Phil'z kernel 3.6.2. Battery life is bloody awesome. Never lost any battery overnight.

Have downloaded the rom + mod, will grab the kernel as well. See 3.6.5 is out.

Battery life today has been shocking on CM10 Kernel that comes with Rootbox 3.2 - 11% On Dori would have been 70% left.

ok, so I screwed up my phone again this morning... (and this time I definitely followed the instructions to what I was doing 100%) see thread from yesterday here

Im following this video here, to try and get CWM installed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vW7W4Mj-Js Infortunately when I try that, Odin says failed and then Im back to a phone that needs to be fixed again.

I have verified that the phone has root access, so Im a little confused as to why this process is crashing.

I figured that maybe what I was trying to do was an issue because I didnt have root. So I followed this I guess that sorted the root, but when I go into Recovery mode it still has the default and not the CWM. Thats not right?

Lets stick to your other thread otherwise things are going to get lost between posts, I'll try and help you there.

Very strange. My battery life is excellent. Are there any apps that could be draining your battery?

Seems to be an issue with my external SD and media system - keep getting messages about it being removed
