SARS E-Filing 2019 OPEN!

Filed the 1st, logged in again yesterday, cannot find anything they want, they seems happy, nothing paid back yet.
Maybe there system slipped a tooth, 1jul 20119 jumped to 2020, or just missing from the paytrain.

I also filed on the 1st, no audit.Just check my SOA its now shows electronic refund 09.07.19.

Filed on 22 June.
Uploaded supporting documents on 25 June.
Still waiting. :(

Mine was the same, checked this morning and it now reflects refund scheduled for tomorrow. So your new mods will be purchased soon I hope.

I just checked mine and refund is also scheduled for tomorrow  No mods planned though, I need to pay for an upcoming overseas trip.

Still nothing received as of yet, SOA still shows no date of refund and I filed on the 1st of July with no audit nor verification, guess ill give them a call to find out whats the delay.

Same here, nothing shows up on SOA either.

Still waiting for a date for my return.

26/06 - Filed
02/07 - Went into SARS to change banking details (Told 21 business days)
05/07 - Phoned in to see if all was fine. She said yes and it'll take 7 business days
08/07 - Checked SOA, still the same.

Guess I must wait until Thursday (7 business days) before query again?

Last year i had to wait 21 working days for them to process the verification

Looks like I will be getting R 7400 back. How long does it usually take from date of submission to payment?

Or where can I check it? I don't see anything on the notice of assessment.

I filed 3 July. Refund loaded for payment and reversed on 4 July. Payment loaded today again for 9 July. Should receive payment tomorrow. No verification or audit required.

Learned folk, need your help with claiming back for medical expenses.

My wife is on my medical aid as a dependent. In addition for a number of items which the medical aid will not cover, I pay these cash. Am i able to claim on those having paid for those treatments, or would my wife have to claim?

I'm thinking the person whose name is on the account? Got about 34K day to day plus dental I claimed myself that way (Only have hospital plus small savings). Needless to say I'm awaiting verification

Earlier in this thread, it was mentioned that even expenses your medical aid didn't pay should be sent to them so it is included in your tax certificate that they send you .

Based on your point , does it mean I can still submit my medical expenses (have records and receipts) as part of my tax return to provide when I inevitably get selected for audit?

Thx

Filed now and immediately they wanted supporting docs. Let's see if what I gave them is enough

Quite a few of my expenses aren't listed on my med aid certificate. I add those up, and submit them as well. Then when I inevitably get selected for verification I just scan and upload the slips.

Ironically, last year this got accepted and the med certificate rejected, which I had to appeal and only got paid 4 months later

Filed on the 30th, uploaded and submitted documents same day. Acknowledgement letter received same day. So I did everything required on the 30th. But here I am still waiting for a mere completion letter. My soul is starting to feel hopeless.

I always get my completion letter after 3 to 4 weeks. So am just relaxing now. I will start checking towards the end of July

The main member is the one claiming, except if she can prove that she is the one paying for the medical aid.
