I did receive confirmation correspondence the morning after I uploaded supporting docsHas anyone who has submitted supporting docs received a confirmation that they've received them?
I know it says on the e-filing site that my docs have been successfully submitted but didn't get the usual e-mail and SMS from them....
Submitted Friday night, paid this morningSubmitted on Friday night. Payment is tomorrow, 11 July
Remember Ramaphosa when you vote next year. /sImpressive.. Efiled on Monday at 3pm..money is in my acc this morning.. That's like about 36 hours give or take
YesIf they're a bit vague on what docs they want, I'm hoping they'll be clarify exactly what they need over the phone?
PS. Is a lease agreement a common thing for them to ask for on rental properties?

I just got a notification saying they need more documentation. They require supporting invoices related to deductions and also a rental/lease agreement. I've sent them all section 18A tax certificates, RA tax certs, just a lease agreement was missing.
This is a bummer.
This could just be the start. Ive had multiple rounds of documentation. One year they did not accept my IT3B for interest on my bonds with rentals, had to supply 12 months bank statements, a letter explaining why I made the loss, every month of rates, levies, lease agreements and then a breakdown of all costs (even though this breakdown is essentially filled in on efiling)
was a 3 month process

You're kidding!
I've provided the monthly rates and taxes, the schedule of levies and the lease agreement was just sent today. But I can't believe they wanted a years worth of bank statements.
Yup, I had to highlight the payments each month from the tenant, highlight the bond payments coming off, highlight the payments leaving for council tax and levies etc
On every single statement for a year
