All my pc's are being forced to update to creator's update, even know windows update service is disabled and stopped.

It enable's it by it self, have checked more than pc and checked with some my friends, they all have the same issue.

Is there anyway I can actually disable updates? I do not want any windows updates ever!

I have the same problem . Update keeps on failing on 45%, due to one of the device drivers that can't be updated . So it restores itself to previous version, only to try again later and failing, and restoring... and failing...

Have gone thru all suggestions for correcting this update problem, short of a clean install. In the meantime I really want to stop updates to this laptop..

I have a PC at home and a work laptop that are kept up to date (including the "creators" etc. updates) - and I have no issues at all

Yeah for regular users these updates are fine. Updates screws over my drivers and waste my bandwidth on remote site.

I have manage move over 2 machines to linux at-least, but not all of them will work on linux.

For the record, are these PC's running Win10 Pro or Home?

Asking because since version 1607 even GP settings controlling updates became provisional, not mandatory. And YES, services are being restarted at will.

Google destroy windows spying(DWS.exe). It will be a github link. Get the latest version in the program you can disable all windows updates.

You can also disable all windows spying. Windows updates will try and circumvent the program and sometimes windows defender will re enable the spying and updates in rare cases. So you have to run the program occasionally to ensure that you are safe. You can also disable windows defender but I don't think it is necessary as it does a decent job and you don't really need an anti virus with it installed.

Not for long. All homemade, third-party spyware and cryptomining are starting to be integrated in the Defender since the 1709 fall release. Microsoft is doing it because these independent engines constantly compete for forcing updates, crashing each other. It cause a big mess of killing updating engine and deleting completed downloads.

Sorry what? Link? This sounds like complete nonsense.

Set your internet connection to metered. Windows will only download critical updates ( which are extremely few ) , balance you can tell it to do so at your convenince. Yes, the damn service turns itself on and off all the time no matter what scripts you run or tasks to kill it, microsoft sneak a activation in somewhere. Metered has worked best for me.

Also have a machine here with the same issue, but seems there is also another issue, can't get windows 7 to load updates either (reset the laptop).

Like I said in another thread, I just disable Updates in services. Though some people said, that theirs turned back on after a while, by itself.
Mine stays disabled, though. Don't know if it's because of the "Destroy Windows 10 Spying" thing I installed after I upgraded to 10, back then.

I saw it on the official Microsoft blog. Of course they didn't say 'spyware', but they refered to integrating "MS Telemetry" with Defender.

Nope, then what you said is completely and utterly wrong.
