Script or patch that actually turn's off windows updates?

For the record, are these PC's running Win10 Pro or Home?

Asking because since version 1607 even GP settings controlling updates became provisional, not mandatory. And YES, services are being restarted at will.

Google destroy windows spying(DWS.exe). It will be a github link. Get the latest version in the program you can disable all windows updates.

You can also disable all windows spying. Windows updates will try and circumvent the program and sometimes windows defender will re enable the spying and updates in rare cases. So you have to run the program occasionally to ensure that you are safe. You can also disable windows defender but I don't think it is necessary as it does a decent job and you don't really need an anti virus with it installed.

Windows updates the graphics card driver, this messes up my mining stuff.

Did it at a friends place, seems to be working.

Thats a setting you can set in the update panel, block non windows updates ie for drivers etc.

The creators updates still goes and update drivers it seems.

Everything is updated now, and applying the metered connection on lan connection "hack" on all the machines now. As the spring update might be "forced" also.

The update even changed my sleep settings to 30 min.

Weird, I never get the driver updates anymore unless through their own panel. I only get the defender ones that even then I have to manually accept although it warns after 7 days.

The metered connection works great and for the chap who asked why, simple, data is expensive and my downloads are all scheduled post 12am. Now if there was a setting where you could set a download window, I'd be a happy man. There's only one to set install times.

You have given some control over device drivers updates, but it is obscured. In the old way second button click on the System (in case it had been renamed again, it is a place where it displays Windows version, basic CPU and RAM info and activation status). Select Advanced on the left side another window open, look at the second tab.
