Ok so dunno if anyone else experienced the same sorts of problems as me....
Bought an 8Gb Black on launch friday, to discover my first issue with it,
about 4 dead pixels, so i thought eish, not that big a deal because they not in a seriously annoying position. later that evening when it was dark i picked up the phone and saw my second issue - along the left hand side inbetween the glass screen and the chrome there was light shining through, googled it and apparently its called a light leak - unacceptable, but i got over it then i got the nail in the coffin and on monday i noticed specks of dust under the screen...... for a 6300+ phone, absolute crap....
so on wednesday the 1st of October i decided to go to vodacare Canal Walk and they took the phone without any issue reassuring me i would get a brand new unit because they do not have refurbished units... although it has a 48 hour turn around because my phone had to be sent to JHB and inspected blah blah then there was also an issue of the phone only being ready for collection on monday (today) because there was some issue with couriers, fair enough I live in Cape Town SA, 48 hours would have been a miracle...
so i phoned today only to be informed, no-one knows where my phone is - no-one can get hold of someone who should know something - no-one knows anything and i am beyond furious... waiting for my phone to be returned.... just thought id rant a bit let you guys know what the policies are on returning, just expect pathetic service from vodacare
