The weight loss thread

So, after about 11kg loss, most of my XL clothes are loose fitting. Do you guys get rid of bigger size clothes immediately or do you just wait for a while?

Background: I am hoarder of a kind and I kept all my L size clothing (even M - FFS) in the hope that 'one day' I will wear them - which has become reality now.

I am also a horder. I havent bought much XL clothes as I always said I will get back to my old weight. So most XL stuff is either super worn or just crappy

Good to hear I am not the only one in hoarding. I think I will get rid of outside XL clothing as barring some unforeseen medical issues, I am going to try not to get back to that one.

Really depends on what you have.

To my wifes horror and disgust, I currently have a crappy amazon jeans till my old levis fit me.

About 91 kg atm so slowly dropping.

I keep mine. Worst case you can use them to sleep in.

Having to buy smaller clothes is a pain though. Went from XXL to L so have to make a plan to get some smaller work shirts soon. Can still wear the larger sizes, but they are a tad baggy now

I keep one pair of size 38 jeans and one pair of shorts and if I get too fat, i wear that every day (jeans for winter, shorts for summer) until I get back to 36.

Enough of this cr*p. Time to take it as a challenge now. Weighed 90.2 today and aim it to get it to 88 before end of November.
I was ultra motivated to get down to 82.5kg (from 85.5) for Vitality points, but wife banked some big exercise points and we hit diamond anyways, so now my motivation is gone.

Beer and tacos!

LOL - I have controlled diet & exercise in early months this year. It just takes lot of discipline every flipping day. At least 200 calories of exercise and 300 calories less from food every day and you lose 2kg per month.
Yup, no starvation required, just small increments over time.

I am feeling quite lightweight today but resisting the urge till weigh-in tomorrow. :-) Also realized that I weighed in 88.5 few days ago so I could be almost there really. Will adjust target to 86 for November end if I weigh in close to 88.5 tomorrow.

Diet has been quite carb heavy so there's been a slight increase.

So, fell completely off the wagon without noticing I fell off the wagon. Carbs been creeping into my diet over the past 3-4 months. I've been feeling really crap, sleeping poorly, headaches etc, to the point that I've been almost unable to exercise and Dr Garmin has been making just about every day a rest day.

I took stock of things last weekend during a particularly hectic migraine and cut right back on the carbs again.

I guess it's the wegovy but during this period I hardly did any damage to my weight loss (apart from stopping it completely) and within a week of sorting out what I put in my mouth, I'm feeling a hundred times better and am this morning at my lowest weight in years.

Onwards and downwards!
