Love it - BUT I'm a pretty savvy weather user. You should browse their forums - some brutal feedback from users which is quite amusing (though rather middle-class I'm afraid), but they respond to all of it and are making changes fast. Here are some key issues I picked up:
# People HATE the left hand flashy menu, but it can be turned off
# They now cover 2600 products (their claim, anyone care to count?), covering 200 towns. They used to give 100 tables for 100 towns...I think change is unavoidable with all of that
# I hate the colours, but I'm colour disadvantagesd

They give us skins and I like the mauve one, but my wife thinks it's terrible. Each to their own.
# They claim (again, no check) to be SA's second-highest traffic site by users, and by pageviews. Something like 300k pages per day. I did hear that they are one of IS's largest hosting accounts. I'm impressed with the new speed given this - it used to be useless and slow for silly text tables! The change was WELL due. Credit to IS I guess...
# There are several great products that we didn't have before: Storm maps are being talked about by all my friends (top end professionals who value their time so bear that in mind when reading the next point), fog maps, and I find the rainfall map great as it splits morning vs afternoon and night. Tables are as good as ever, and the JHB table is my home screen, with one click to get the JHB storms. Once in tables, you are really in a portal for your town: you can switch maps and table views all in 1 click.
# There is a glaring issue to us weather-savvy people: They have removed radar! And people are p****d! Now, there's a backdoor to the old images...but it will not last I'm sure. The issue is that their storm tracking is great for the general user, but (as reported on classic FM), it's not nearly as useful for those of us who can read radar. Main reason is it only updates every hour. They say half-hourly is coming but radar was every 5mins.
Overall, my vote is a resounding "YES". If they take us back to the old site I'll definitely be cratered. I also know from much experience that this is the only site that gives SA weather info that's accurate. Every other site out there is so so wrong (weatherbouy, windguru, accuweather, weather underground, HTC data source, you name it - all terrible for Gauteng and I have found even worse for CT when I'm on holiday). So, guys, stop saying things like "I'm going elsewhere" when 1) we should be supporting SA and 2) we actually have nowhere to go and should rather try to guide the future of this site. They definitely listen to their users - even my initial rants got answered and are still there to be viewed.
