Yep. Exactly how I feel about it.

Yeesh, I have so many reasons for wanting to switch over: transparency, a fantastic control panel and billing system, professional and courteous support and honesty.

I'm just so happy that they finally released a product that was practical and of use to me.

Now FIX HTTPS! :D

As I mentioned in my post above, we're provisioning a lot more bandwidth for Monday, and things are expected to get better for this weekend. Will keep everyone posted when I get more updates :)

mmm ... surprised by that (meaning having inadequate bandwidth) as my 1 meg line ran at full speed for last 24 hours using your news servers (ran it max to see what would happen when I reached the threshold as I'm using this month a test month.. New account. very impressed. keep up the good work. Maybe the issue is at DSLAM's and not on your side.

BTW love the month to month option. Great product and great service. Hope you guys can one day offer a percentage of the news server downloads to the freezone.

Edit: time to download most of my steam games :)

Ok mine is completely dead now only site that works is mybroadband lol.
 
Lets also face the fact that a lot of peoples issues started before the first sooooo.....

Yeah, it's fine now.

In my previous post it seems to have been an issue with the Altech server (mind trying that as well, please)?

With the other servers it failed to do a packet test at all a couple of times. Weiiiiird. Other accounts (Afrihost and FNB) both fine.
 
Sigh at this its better but still very jittery in games like Heroes of newerth.

Nope that server seems to fail for me. Not sure why, but then after that my whole Chrome seems to come crashing down. I did try 2 times. Decided its more effort than its worth.

Yep, same story in Firefox :D

Oddly, it works fine on my other accounts. But it's no big deal. Today everything's been 100% perfect (except for latency, which seems to randomly spike).

Just a heads up to the WA rep...

Heroes of newerth experiences lag spikes on WA. I also have a Telkom account that i switch to for gaming whihc runs the game fine when online but switch to WA and there are spikes.

it gives me the option to activate my data when the line is transferred to them or activate the data now.

basically mweb is transferring the line back to telkom not sure when but my stuff get cancelled on 31 dec at mweb.

I need a option to activate the data 1st jan and then webafrica handle the line back from telkom, and i can use the account from 1st jan while line is at telkom while a wait for the transfer to webafrica.

Hope that makes sense lol.
 
well today it seems asif the problem is sorted lets hope it stays this way now :/

I have tried the altech pingtest on WA uncapped. It doesnt work for me.

Even my old cybersmart account from last month didnt work for the altech server. Its always something about the firewall or server being down

Choose the option to activate later. In one of the next steps there is a comment section where you can tell them what you want done. I did that. My line is still being transferred back to telkom.

But during this week I decided to try out the data, so I phoned them to activate the data. ATM I'm only being charged for the data for Dec.

I do have something to point out though. Yesterday I was playing on a local server. I used the wage bot to host but I ended up the only 1 lagging in the game.

I had nothing downloading & checked that anti-virus was not updating. It was so bad considering this was local gaming. However; on the bright side today seems to be much better

It was like this when everyone was moaning, but apart from that period it's been perfect.
