Weight Loss Thread 2014

...
Cayenne does stimulate muscle movement and digestion, don't know if it does anything to actually help digest fat. I eat a ****load of cayenne, and tumeric. My dinner plate always looks like a bloody rainbow lol

Do you take add your cayenne and tumeric pure or is it in a curry mix.
I have a mix I use atm, but my curries look fluorescent yellow! Scared I'll start glowing in the dark! :D

Found "The diet delusion" by Gary Taubes, brilliant read! If I had any doubts about LCHF, this book has put my mind at ease.Well back to reading, just had share this.

That's a weird coincidence, I started reading it a couple hours ago, very interesting so far.

78KG.

Yes, I know we can vary, regardless, the consistent daily drop is really helping me avoid the doughnuts. :D

Still pretty lethargic here, but getting better, I think.

Anybody know where I can get MTC oil in CT? Or at least coconut oil?

Also, for those interested, Exclusive books is apparently getting their stock or "The real meal revolution" on Tuesday. And if you live in a one-horse town with dial-up internet, Kalahari's expecting theirs on Wednesday.

Pure MCT is hard to come by, see mister's posts a few pages back, but you can get absolute organix Omega Sport 50% MCT & coconut oil from dischem

Dischem also sell a de-odorised version. Heavily processed and bland. Rather try to get organic virgin coconut oil.
Crede Oils sell good VCO (some of the heavy CO users I've heard from go for Crede Oils).
1 litre goes for +-R165 last time I checked (2013).

Dischem sell Crede and Nature's Choice, the latter being deodorised but I doubt it's heavily processed, they also have a 3rd brand but I can't remember what it's called. I do agree though to aim for the virgin coconut oil.

The third brand is Lifestyle. I use the organic odourless oil and it provides the same amount of satiety as VCO. Apparently the health benefits of VCO outweigh that of the refined oil but at R100/litre it's far cheaper than VCO.

Well officially gained 7kgs since November/December last year. Time to start all over again
