Weight Loss Thread 2014

Ok. I normally have them over weekends, but during the week I'm looking at what I can have. There is not a lot of time before work :(

make egg muffins over the weekend, freeze and then pop them into the microwave in the morning

Oh. Here is my friends attempt at the low carb bread from Real Meal Rev.

Followed the recipe to the letter. However he did remark that the bread had no taste and will up the baking powder, salt and Xylitol (used this instead of stevia)

I will also be trying it soon. Miss my bacon and egg toasties :(
 
the eggs muffins give a lot of options as you can make a whole bunch of different types depending on what you choose as a filler
 
Been suggested a recipe making cookies using flax, teeny bit of carob and teeny bit of dried cranberries. Must say I am keen to try them!

I already do brocolli for lunch and supper...think I might chuck some shrooms or other type of meat in there. Thank you for that recipe! Will be a welcome change :)
 
I think I'm going to do away with having a carb-allowed day ..... I'm just not enjoying it when I do have carbs. Feel all bloated and meh for ages. Maybe once a month I'll indulge in a packet of Fritos or a donut or something.
 
Did our weekly weigh-in today, and I was a bit disappointed with losing 0.6kg. I am now down to 94.1kg . I guess I should be happy that it's a loss.
I was really expecting to lose more, it was a good week as far as food and exercise went.
According to the urine test strips, I was in keto for the week. :(
Oh well, next week I aim to train harder and also try keep my carbs down to 30g.
 
I lost like 1cm almost all round this week ...... was a bummer after dropping 7-9 last week but I dropped another 2.8kg's so stuff the cm's, heh. Weird how your body shifts so much.
 
Congrats to all the losers.

I'll be weighing in tomorrow morning. I know not to expect any massive difference in the first week. Any loss will be good for me.
 
Weighed in this morning
Dropped 0.9kg, and supposedly 5cm around my stomach :eek: And if my scale at home is to be believed, total body fat went down 0.9% to 18.8%.

I'm happy with that :D
 
Started of at 133kg this week. Been 7 days on Atkins and now weighing 126.5
