Weight loss

Googoo, its refined (man-made) carbs that mess up your lipid profile, and not healthy (read: NATURAL) fats, although your doctor may disagree. It will be many more years until this is accepted by the general/old-school medical profession. If you would like to learn more, I can highly highly highly recommend this book written by a cardiologist. It is very well written, and written for the layperson.

My cholesterol is fine :) Was just asking out of interest. And for other reasons I can't eat the fatty things. I do obviously but keep it to the minimum.

I had a 3 egg omelette whipped up with cream; with ham, mushrooms fried in lots of butter and some gouda grated over the top as fillings

Hey! So close to mine.. I rendered down some chorizo and sweated off some onions and a sprinkle of jalapeno, and added some cheddar, inside athree egg omelette whipped with a tiny bit of water and cream. Sour cream on the side.

I do know that some people just can't tolerate a high fat diet for some reason. Probably something to do with inadequate bile production or something along the lines. My wife, for example

ps, see what i did there? :D

Well she won't need to produce bile anymore. She has you :p

I decided to try out a cup of coffee (I mix my coffee with 2% Low fat Milk [store didn't have fat free milk :( ])with no sugar in it. Wow, it was not bad at all! I think I can get used to this quite soon!

Or you could drop the milk and just add cream

Fat isnt the issue, so no point really with low fat or fat free (which is white coloured water). OMB will tell you the issue is with the carbs in milk (plus all the other crap such as lactose, hormones etc) so rather have cream. Personally I also have low fat 2% and that is just because it is what the family prefer.

After a while coffee tastes great without sugar and everything just tastes sweeter once you stop the refined sugar intake.
