My warrior is in the best place she has been since Vanilla Even my arms spec is holding up great for fast mob killing.

Decided to focus a bit more on my Paladin going forward, though I can not say that I like the changes to Holy paladins much. The instant heals were really great for PVP.

Need to check on parties cross realm a bit, then I can probably team up with some of the guys here. Or is that still not possible?

You get cross realm Guilds now, so it's very possible. I think the realms need to be in the same battle group though.

As far as im aware the realms need to be connected realms to invite members from other servers. So unless its an "Official" Linked realm. it wont work, for example Dragonblight is linked with Ghostlands. They can invite one another, but we cant invite someone from say... Grim'batol to the guild.

Ok so the burning question...

Which class are you guys going to boost to 90? Something completely different to what your alts are or your favourite alt or another one of your mains that you can then use as a dedicated alt spec e.g. resto druid if your main is a beartank.

I'm still toying with the idea of boosting a hunter or a priest...since my caster alts are only around lvl40 and i havenæt made either of those two classes yet. I know, i suck. Played WoW since TBC and never bothered with alts.

Any active SA guild recommendations? Willing to transfer my 90 chars. Really needs to be active though, inactive or active-at-the-wrong-times guilds are probably why I got bored and left a few months ago.

Never played a priest before, so I boosted it to 90.

NOTE: If you boost a priest, don't choose holy as primary spec. Boosted characters have to complete the pre-WoD quests before getting all your spells and the only spells you get after boosting is: 1) Heal 2) Flash Heal 3) Renew 4) Smite (or something like that)

I struggled just to smite the first normal level 90 mob to death. (smite-heal-heal-smite-heal-heal)

Had to port to org and switch specs (shadow)

On an unrelated note, did any of you watch the Warcraft: LFG video that is on the launcher? It was genuinely nostalgic as it took you through the history of Blizzard...from the days of Vikings & Blackthorne to WC1/2. It's an hour or so but really interesting to watch how WoW was born and just the incredible impact it had on so many, but also the pure engineering feat to pull it off.

With garrisons being character locked and the fee of 14k gold per character to complete garrison buildings, I'm only focusing on 2 characters this expansion

Alts shall be leveled much later.

Thinking I'm ready to get this going again, have 11 90's at my disposal across 2 accounts and 1 boost to still use. Planning is as follows:

Take DK main from 90-100 as quickly as possible
Take alts to 93 and get garrisons setup for herbs and mining
Go back to DK and actually look at some of the content I missed while rushing to 100, carry on gearing and clearing achievements
Take individual alts to 100

Personal guild is setup for alts, will possibly take leader of guild to 100 first after DK

Haha fantastic! Must've been an insane experience.

My first intro to WoW was during TBC...I still remember my first time inside Karazhan, which will forever be my favourite raid. It was beyond anything I've ever experienced gaming wise.

I do miss open world pvp though...the days where you still had to run everywhere because mounts were only available at lvl40 @ 100g. I ganked a lvl34 warrior with my 25 rogue in ashenvale and what ensued could only be described as glorious anarchy. He came looking for me, killed my 2 lower level buddies and when I backstabbed him again he called more of his buddies, resulting in us calling our guild...and them calling theirs. It was an epic pvp fest that saw lvl70s being drawn out of the woodwork of alts to join in and seek revenge.

Another time there was conflict on the forums where a guild had it out for us, so we were pretty much marked as Kill on Site. This eventually developed into an official duel challenge between myself and their resident rogue...in stranglethorn vale's arena. We were a low pop realm so I expected him and a few buddies to pitch up...there were dosens if not over 100 people at the arena...horde, alliance, everyone. All sitting and behaving in spectator mode, with campfires and everything going, waiting for the dual to commence.

I'd love to blame it on my latency, but fact remains he kicked my ass fair and square. We actually became mates after that, but it was something I'll never forget...and I love that about the game...the unscripted beauty. They were completely right when they said one of the main characters in WoW is the open world.
