Right - we know Cybersmart loves Seacom and when Seacom goes down so does Cybersmart (if you are a normal customer and not using a restored package).
That I can live with .. what I find annoying is :

Did anyone see this interview with Aidan Baigrie of Seacom today?
Worryingly, he says, "With unrest rising in the Middle East and North Africa, there is a real possibility that governments could approach Seacom and ask it to shut down the cable."
Why would he say that?

Anyone know what's up with Seacom and SAOL not having a failover with the current Seacom downtime? Last year when Seacom went down they ran thru Sat, now nothing. I mean, their uncapped 4 mb connection is cheap, but I'm still paying for a for a damn service that I'm not getting. Worst part is...
