Can anyone tell me which ISPs are not affected by the Seacom downtime? Preferably one with a prepaid option.
Need stable international internet... :cry:

using our telkominternet account we can never access websites ending in co.uk.. what could be the problem??

Ever since SEACOM came back on-line my p2p speeds have been pretty cr@p. Where I used to get anywhere between 150 to 300Kbs after hours, stuff is now trickling in at 60-70Kbs.
HTTP downloads are at full line-speed. Speedtest.net is good to both London an NY...

Meanwhile could people please post which specific ISPs are still experiencing complete international outage. It seems that Afrihost is one.
It's not really acceptable for a provider of any service to stop providing the service they are being paid for and not compensate their customers.
So, as a means of recompense, surely Seacom should only charge 50% of their usual rate for wholesale bandwidth for the month of May? ISP's who...

im using mikrotik for my routing.
My 4 isp's is
IS - Local
IS - Int
Saix - Int
Screamers
currently my routing is setup to route int throug my IS INT line, failover to SAIX. And my local to my IS local. as 99% of you know we do this in mikrotiks...
I'm looking for sites where I can download stuff from, at speeds higher than 100mbps.
Please don't say Rapidshares :)
