On Monday Afrihost will be upping my line from 100Mbps (which just migrated) to 200Mbps. I have until then to work out why the link between my desk and the switch next to the internet equipment is only 100Mbps instead of 1000Mbps.
This is the exact switch I'm using:

A cheapo gigabit TP-Link 8 port without PoE. I use 3 PoE injectors for the 3 Ubiquiti UniFi access points. Other than the link speed I have zero complaints. The switch is fully loaded: 2 wired PCs, 1 CCTV NVR, 3 access points, 1 router & 1 UniFi Cloud Key.
None of the network cables to the switch are close to 100m long. All are Cat5e crimped by myself and were tested using a cable tester before use. My PC and the new router supplied by Afrihost (which I'm using as a switch on my desk) are showing a gigabit link between one another. Another PC in the house also only has 100Mbps to the switch.
Is it safe to assume that the cheapo switch cannot maintain gigabit links for each port? Is there one that you guys would recommend?
