Is there something up with the News Servers ? Is Afrihost locking it down? I even loaded a TurboBoost, but no go.
My news downloader has been doing this all day:
All dead? Rest of my internet is fine....
According to Afrihost, this, everyone, is a P2P app, not a game:

And if you think otherwise, it's just a matter of opinion.
Like I said, if it has a peer 2 peer nature, and packet signature, we will shape it and we are very comfortable with that.
So you're very comfortable with throttling games so hard that they can't even connect. Good to know!
I'm pretty comfortable to shape a P2P service in line with our AUP. If you don't want to be shaped on your gaming - we have unshaped products.
Are you using our server - or a external service?
Well, it's nice to have it black on white from Afrihost that if you want to play games, an Afrihost uncapped line isn't gonna cut it. When will you update your website with this new information?

I am getting tired of this. On my free one gig uncapped Afrihost account and a trial uncapped account from openweb, live streaming works fine. When I switch to my uncapped afrihost account, it's a nightmare to stream. Please don't tell me it's my exchange because it isn't. Add the fact that despite me downloading almost four times less then a normal month; I'm being shaped for around 14-16 hours a day, and right now my account is basically useless
Dear [redacted]
We trust that you are well!
Please note that your account [redacted] that was on a Faster ADSL has been put into a cancellation pending state.
Guys, it's official - I just got an email stating that Afriman has cancelled my ADSL line(!) because I pointed out that OpenTTD is a game, not a P2P application!
I received numerous complaints about your conduct with our staff
I've really asked you very nicely to be civil to our staff and other forumites
and even gave you free service to make up your mind - since you complain so bitterly about what a terrible company and service we provide - which you accepted.
I think at the end of the day this is the very best option for you to find what you are looking for because you are clearly very unhappy with us.
Oh dear, Afriman complained to Afriman because I called a game a game. Terminate his ADSL line!
Well, actually, you asked me not to put your brand in a bad light, and tried to bribe me into doing so. But hey, when you continuously claim that red is green, and demand that I acknowledge that red is green, that's when we'll have to agree to disagree.
So it was not to make up for months of having an ADSL line that was down more often than up, and when up it performed about as well as a 33k6 modem?
I agree, it's probably best that I find an ISP that doesn't threaten with cancelling my service unless I publically agree that red is green.
Again, you are quoting completely out of context and that was never what I discussed with you in private messages.
And you're making stupid claims like "I received numerous complaints about your conduct with our staff" well knowing that besides Afriguy stubbornly insisting that red was green today, you're the only Afrihost staff I've talked to since I got my Afrihost connection running more than a year ago. I find it hilarious that you have to try to ad hominem me by making people think that I somehow abuse your staff on a regular basis.
