seeing as you dont reply to my private messages this seems to be the only way to get a reply from you. i need you to explain to me why i havent had any feedback from you as to a result about your "faults" you sent to IS and telkom regarding my account. and the last week now i cant even access gmail.. i cant access the 3d modeling site i frequent (zbrush) they just refuse to load. they start loading and then "done" with nothing loaded only a blank screen. ek raak nou rerig GATVOL om jou gat te lek om iets gedoen te kry :mad::mad::mad:

screaming and swearing doesnt help. asking nice doesnt help. so what the hell helps !?
 
another isp.
I hope this idea opens the doors to new, unexplored, more satisfying avenues!
 
Search forum -> another ISP is what you need. We all had the same issue. They dont know where the reply button is.
 
Get another ISP.... it's your only option.

I was with WebAfrica, they have an EXCELLENT customer service department, fast, and friendly, and their staff is trained. I'm not with them 'cause I'm a heavy bandwidth user, and their prices aren't that great in that department, well most ISP have the same pricing, I use VitalityBroadband now, great prices R44/GB. But they mostly do email support, and unless you already know quite a bit about IT, and diagnosing problems yourself, stick to webafrica.
 
Truth be told, I think something is wrong at OpenWeb. Maybe MrBeep is i'll or something else, or maybe he is understaffed. But they were always good but then it changed quickly. I hope im wrong.
 
It's telkom holding back on work they had to do. That is one thing that will hurt the smaller ISPs. They know it. They do it.

They give priority to their bandwidth, as another thread here mentioned.

They deliberately undermine other players.

They managed to halt I-ECNS and I-ECS licencing...

openweb no good...,like i said in previous thread...also got the same story.."responded to all your mails...if we did not...then we did not receive them"

Can you please respond to the 30 for 10 thread here. Not just ask those affected to contact you. People deserve an explanation, not just a fix. This is really hurting your credibility as an ISP.

I thought a complaint to ISPA would be in order, but when I go to the ISPA website, Openweb is not listed as a member. Why is that?
 
Sigh at this idiot - last time he bitched and bitched and moaned and moaned and he hadn't even setup his openbrowse properly. Sigh tools like this give people a bad name - GO READ UP before you start trashing a company.

I have had nothing but good service from Openweb, but then again I don't expect my hand to be held either. If you want mothering and 24/7 support go pay R145 a gig at MWEB. You seem to need the shoulder to cry on.

From what I can see all of those look to be HIS own fault for not reading or that of the IS network which OW has no control over.

Grow up you tool / troll move to MWEB and get off this forum - If I was OW i'd sue you for defamation and loss of business as your false accusations are hurting their business. Actually OW - cut your losses - give him his money back and tell him you don't want him as a client. He isn't worth your time. Some people you should help and others you should shift on to your competition whilst smiling with GLEE.

We are not part of ISPA due to a decision we took a long time ago.

I wonder what is the reasoning for an ISP not being part of ISPA,
Surely being part of ISPA can benefit the ISP
