There is one detail that I can share, not all the circles on the location map will be there from the getgo. "potential" areas..

Roger that. I'm getting used to disappointment when looking at coverage maps. Will hold thumbs for next week.

@Bryn even saying that last one in public can be damming, watch out!

@Ajan what ever you may or may not have done, CW clearly sees you as an issue. Doubt you'll get anything from them except the legal team.

If you had to guess, what do you think could have caused this drama?

You a hacker?
Use a petabyte of open time data?
Habitually paying late?
Running a criminal syndicate?
Downloading Celine Dion?

I've got a email reply. It's a one line reply saying my account is currently investigated under the ECTA. And Shaun stating he is not allowed to comment further.

Well since I got nothing better to do with my 1GB AF trial account, I might as well bring this to light.

"While every effort is made to ensure that all public representations from Crystal Web are accurate, it is agreed that Crystal Web will not be liable in any manner whatsoever if a representation contains an error or inaccuracy."

"A cancellation may not be processed while the parties are engaged in a dispute resolution process, or there is an outstanding invoice to be settled, or if a contract is attached to the service."

Also SMS and Account termination were at the same time around 3 AM. No 24 hour notice prior to the termination. I mean imagine if someone had to wake up to their ISP account being terminated, and having to write an online exam (Given the state of Unis) that morning. The SMS states that I have been investigat'ed', yet I have had no communications prior to the SMS of the investigation. They have yet to state the grounds of which the investigation is taking/took place on.

It feels like they are telling me what IS is telling them to say. And I wouldn't be surprised given CW are just IS resellers.

:wtf: CW ?!

Not cool.

Did he look a kiddie porn, send info to Snowden, released a virus, used a stolen credit card number?

Were you monitoring his traffic?

So that's what Crystal Web has been up to recently instead of fixing their service.

On a related note, Internet Solutions are still having massive packet loss issues on at least some of their routes to Europe.

I'm with Webafrica (IS) and everything is working fine for me.

No issues here either.

Been watching the HS tournament, apple event and twit.tv without any problems over the past few days.

you are wrong.

internet solutions only provide the infrastructure (network). crystal web is responsible for their own products, users, b/w and management there-of. crystal web is not reselling any of IS' products.

What IP is that to? Will test from my side too and post

The packet loss is intermittent, and right now there's not much packet loss to speak of. You can test to 195.50.124.33, which is the first hop outside of IS on one of the affected routes. But as I said, if you test right now, you probably won't notice any problems. I've had 1% packet loss to that address over the past 20 minutes, where as when it is bad, it goes up to 10%.

My night has really taken a dark path. I guess the joke's over, it has really become surreal.

As an edit: Could anyone refer me to legal counsel that speciliases in the "internet realm"/cyber crime

I would like to, but I would like to first get a legal representative. This has become very serious. Please if anyone knows of any lawyer who can help me out here, please let me know via PM.
