FYI:
Support Warrior: Telkom is still working on getting the affected lines back to their original speeds ASAP

We are still waiting to here if there is an ETA or if it will be fixed a bit later on today

Yes me too. I dropped from 45 down to 2. It was a real mission trying to work from home with this POS.

FFS Telkom! How does your attainable rate look? Did yours also drop? Mine dropped from 34Mbps to 13Mbps. What worries me is if they move me to my original 40Mbps profile, I'll only get a max speed of 12 - 13Mbps. Telkom's usual response for speed dops are "it's a best effort service". I'm not going to be happy...

Lots of packet loss CT side and speed drop on CW going by tests. Streaming is also maxing at 1500 instead of 2500. So it's a Telkom issue huh?

And then a quicky Mweb for comparison purposes -

Just had a look, but it seems my modem (Pace) does not give an attainable rate.

So, day 3 of being on 2Mbps and day 3 of zero (relevant) information. 2 more days till our ADSL lines will probably go down completely.

Come on, Crystal Web. I know you've always been terrible at communication, but it's time to up your game a bit in that regard. What is going on? Why is this so difficult to fix? Should I start looking for a new ISP? Simple questions, in my opinion.

I had the same issue this morning. They switched me from a 2Mbps VDSL profile to a 2Mbps ADSL profile. I had to reconfigure my modem

Why are people hating on CW if sync is controlled by Telkom/OS??

Isp's cannot influence it at all.

To confirm, CW customer in CpT with 12meg sync and no other issues.

Thanks Ripstorm. After changing the modem to adsl, I can at least connect. CW support could not figure this out this morning. Kudos to you.
