It sounds like they are shaping home capped to a percentage of the backhaul speed, and not a percentage of your line speed. Which means that the home capped pipe is likely a broadband uncapped service. Possibly it's the same pipe as the home uncapped service? That would be pretty unfair, because then uncapped account users's internet habits are determining your level service.

My comments must inspire confidence... I have never had an issue and my CW account kicks the butt of every other ISP I have tried in Cape Town

The point being it was CW's mantra from the start that you shouldn't need a business class account to stream and use the internet the way it was meant to be. I'm a 4meg home premium uncapped user and have also been struggling with youtube streaming. This to me is against everything that was CW's mantra.

Don't get me wrong that ping is the dog's bollocks mate and I love it for gaming, but streaming right now is basically impossible in HD with this.
And no, zero WinMTR issues etc etc.

I haven't been affected by the problems plaguing some of the other users in this thread and it does sadden me to see it happen as I do like to follow the thread and offer advice if I can. The mantra thing is spot on - there seems to be a bit of a drop in the way we always had a good back and forth going on (some people ruined it for us) and now we just get trickles of info.
Streaming should never be an issue on CW and neither should gaming. The nonsense that seems to be happening with home accounts does not bode well. Hopefully we see some changes soon on that front, nothing like pissing off your customer base because they will leave in droves.

As can be clearly seen Vox maxes my line and buffers the whole video perfectly. Look at the throughput mismatch. 287kb vs 37634kb.
Needless to say YouTube has all but died for me now. Will switch back when I go to bed for downloads at 00:00.

Checked capped account again now...shaped at 200kB on YouTube.
