Is Anybody else on the South Coast experiencing any issues with twitch at the moment? I can't watch it at all at the moment as it buffers no matter what quality I choose. Youtube works flawlessly and gaming and surfing is absolutely brilliant.
 
Torrent speeds pretty poor tonight.

Multiple torrents and all well seeded.

Getting about 200KB/s on a 10mb line.
 
I am the CEO of Crystal Web, and the guys certainly do answer every mail. I run QA checks on this daily, as does our support manager and technical director. So if mails are not being responded to then it sounds as if they're either not being received by our systsmes (which ties in with the other problems you're having) or it's falling into some black hole on our side which I can identify and fix.

If you have a ticket number I can look into it for you internally. If you don't have a ticket number then it means no emails are being delivered to us (i.e. not successfully sent from your end) and is something we'd need to look at further...

Thank you for your response. In that case I guess that you certainly have a problem then -- I do not receive any ticket numbers -- at all. I am sending email from my telkomsa.net address, and performance is currently so poor that I have trouble even getting in to MyBroadband.

Honestly this is no joke -- I cannot get hold of anyone at crystalweb via email, and the network performance is extremely poor, particularly late evening and especially after midnight. I also registered an email problem in July where I was unable to send email from my telkomsa.net account (#36232) to my work address, but about a week after sending a sniffer trace to the technical team, it disappeared. The support portal's state is ridiculous (no stats when I last checked) and there is also no mechanism there for me to communicate with support people at CrystalWeb. I don't have capacity during my work day to chat with support people -- in any case I am at work then so even if I did it would be useless. I have also been in and out of country over the past two months. I know that you probably do not want to hear this right now, but I want to do is cancel -- for almost 4 weeks now.

Could I ask you a huge favour -- could you please get someone to please make contact with me? I have sent you a private message with my contact details.
 
@TelkomZA to the rescue yet again. Superb service from him, but I must doubt whether anyone else at Telkom actually should deserve salaries if he's the only one willing to help me every time.

Been playing mainly D3 and aside from Blizzard's issues I have been fine.

Just to note: GW2 recently made changes in the way their network traffic works which is supposed to smooth over higher ping interactions but people report that it has been made worse. See here: https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/forum/support/support/Latency-Tuning-Experiments/first#post5506243

Yeah, but the Heroes of the Storm network network issues have been resolved and we're experiencing terrible lag again this morning. We're back at the point of having to restart our router again. Just when I was getting used to not having to restart our router all the time and recommending CrystalWeb to friends :(

@DJ... - another thingy on the netflix.
I streamed ITV for a couple hours then I watched some netflix.
The average transfer rate on the Mikrotik graph was 3Mb/sec for ITV and 1Mb/sec for netflix.

I durrent understand. I wonder if it's something funky on the PS3?

I've been waiting to see if something magically fixes it, but the portal is definitely not working for me. All I get is a page with some really old stats and no button clicking on the left frame does anything.

I still do not get why website design is always so shockingly bad in South Africa. I mean where are the new DSL products (8mbps, etc.)? Where are the FTTH products?

It pisses me off because CW really has a good product, but the presentation is about as good as you get in South Africa. I mean, if designing a flashy website (as it currently is, it's actually a bit over the top) takes too much effort - then just have a simple HTML table with all the details.

Our entire online presence is being redesigned from the ground-up. I certainly don't think that our current design is "shockingly bad" in any way, however the changes are substantial and will be happening within 2 weeks on all online portals and our front-end, as well as new products.

FTTH is on our website BTW...

I believe billing sorted this out. Erroneous automation that fired off.

If not resolved let me know and I'll fix it up...
